Returns & Refunds Policy


At Gadget Craze, we prioritize customer satisfaction and adhere strictly to Uganda's consumer protection regulations. This policy outlines the terms under which returns and refunds are processed.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Customers may return products under the following conditions:

  • Defective or Faulty Products: If a product is found to be defective or not functioning as intended, customers are entitled to return it within one month of purchase for a repair or replacement. ​
  • Products Not as Described: Items that do not match their description or are significantly different from what was advertised can be returned within seven days of receipt. ​ 
  • Unsuitable for Intended Purpose: If a customer informed Gadget Craze of a specific purpose for a product, and upon purchase, it does not serve that purpose, the item can be returned within ten days. ​

2. Conditions for Return

To qualify for a return:

  • The product must be in its original packaging, with all accessories and manuals included.​
  • Proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation, is required.​
  • The item should not show signs of misuse or unauthorized repair attempts.​

3. Non-Returnable Items

Certain products are exempt from returns unless they are defective or not as described:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., batteries with limited shelf life).​
  • Personal hygiene items (e.g., earphones) once opened.​
  • Software or digital products that have been downloaded or activated.​

4. Return Process

  • Initiation: Contact our customer service team within the applicable return window to initiate a return.​
  • Assessment: Upon receiving the returned item, Gadget Craze will inspect it to verify the claim.​
  • Resolution: Depending on the assessment, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund.​ 

5. Refunds

  • Method: Refunds will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed upon.​
  • Timeline: Once a return is approved, refunds will be issued within 14 days.​

6. Shipping Costs

  • Defective or Incorrect Items: Gadget Craze will cover return shipping costs for defective or incorrect items.​
  • Change of Mind: If the return is due to a change of mind, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.​
